Accounts
- You must be 18 or older to create an account.
- Use a real email address you control, and keep your password private. You're responsible for what's posted from your account.
- Don't use your email address, someone else's name, or an offensive name as your username.
- One person, one account.
What you can post
Post honest experiences with vehicles you have owned, driven or worked on. Don't post:
- False or misleading reviews, or reviews you were paid or rewarded for without saying so.
- Spam, ads, or links you posted mainly to promote a business.
- Harassment, threats, hate, sexual content, or anything illegal.
- Other people's personal information, such as license plates with names, addresses or phone numbers.
- Photos or text you don't have the right to share.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you give TVR a free, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, copy, resize and share it on TVR and in links to TVR, for as long as it stays on the site. You can delete your posts at any time.
Red flags
Members keep TVR accurate themselves. Any member can put one red flag on someone else's problem, reply or review that is wrong, spam or abusive, and can take it back while the post is up. When a post gets 3 red flags from 3 different members, it is removed automatically. If 3 of your posts are removed this way, posting on your account is paused for 30 days; you can still read and log in, and the count starts over when the pause ends. Removed posts can't be edited or deleted. Who flagged a post is never shown.
We may also edit formatting, restore a post removed by mistake, hide or remove content, or pause accounts that break these terms or put others at risk, with or without notice. To request removal of content that infringes your rights, email contact@truevehiclereview.com with a link to the post.
Not professional advice
Reviews, problems and fixes are the opinions and experiences of the members who post them. They are not professional repair, safety or buying advice. Check with a qualified mechanic and follow the manufacturer's instructions and any recall notices before working on a vehicle. Repair work can be dangerous; you do it at your own risk.
Advertising
Some areas of TVR show ads from local businesses. Ads are not endorsements, and TVR isn't responsible for an advertiser's products, services or website.
No warranty
TVR is provided free and “as is”. We don't promise the site will always be available or that content is accurate or complete. To the fullest extent the law allows, TVR is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the site or reliance on its content.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use TVR after a change means you accept it.
